What is Building Bridges?
Building Bridges to a Brighter Tomorrow is a passionate, community-driven initiative dedicated to fostering kindness, love, and acceptance for all.
Events in the series will happen every 4-6 weeks throughout Saline and will feature a different medium through which to experience cultural and personal experiences. Each gathering will happen at a different community location and will feature small group discussions that help us get to know each other better.
Organizers will request a typical donation of $5 per person (subject to change pending material costs). The businesses who are hosting or providing food are doing so partly as a donation to the effort of Building Bridges in our community; please thank them and support them!

Building Bridges Through Art
Date: Sunday, November 17, 2024
Time: 3:00 pm
Location: Whitepine Studios, 105 W. Michigan Avenue, Saline, MI
Activity: Paint your own customized version of this design, symbolizing the many pieces that make up our beautiful community and the bridge that connects us all. The paintings will be on 11x14 canvases with all materials provided - NO PAINTING EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
Bring a photo of one of your favorite artworks to share, so we can explore together how art inspires and moves each of us!
Registration through November 10. Donation for this event, due to materials, is $20 per person.
Building Bridges Through Holiday Traditions
Date: Sunday, December 29, 2024
Time: 3:00 pm
Location: to be determined
Activity: Bring something special from a holiday tradition your family practices to share with others. All holidays around this time of year, whether religious or not, are fully welcome: Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Christmas, Chinese New Year, Three Kings Day, just to name a few!
